In 2008, there are new set pieces for Recorder (valid from 2008), Flute and Clarinet (both valid for 2008-2013); all other requirements for these subjects remain unchanged from 2007. The 2008-2013 Flute and Clarinet syllabuses are supported by new albums of Seleceted Exam Pieces published by ABRSM Publishing. The set pieces and requirements for all other Woodwind and Brass subjects remain unchanged from 2007, although Oboe and Trombone exams at Grades 1-3 may now be taken by candidates performing on mini-oboe and alto trombone, respectively. The next edition of the syllabus booklet will be issued in July 2009 and will include new set pieces (valid from 2010) for Trumpet and Trombone.
